Express Freight International, Inc. was born on June 16th 1992 in Miami.
It all started very small on capacity but very big on heart and commitment to create something very special. The company was founded by Roberto Lopez, a Cuban immigrant who came to the United States when he was 8 years old looking for freedom and opportunity. During its first 3 years Express Freight operated as a small freight forwarding firm in the challenging yet very exiting market of Miami, FL.
The company continued to grow after moving to its first warehouse in 1994. In 1996 it started operating its own trucks. Throughout the second part of the nineties Express Freight acquired access to international markets through a net of offices and agents. This permitted the company to focus on providing multinational services to its customers while continuing to provide all the personalized services our customers had come to expect.
Today Express Freight International continues to believe that service, commitment and know-how are still the central ideas in providing solutions for all supply chain management and the specialized transportation requirements of our customers. Together with our partners we strive to provide old-fashioned service and attention to all our customers whose transportation challenges become our business success.
